Voice Lessons
Talia has been singing since she was approximately two years old and has a passion for teaching other music lovers how to develop their own relationship with music.

Voice lessons will address a variety of different topics that adjust based on the individual singer's abilities. Cantrelle Studios offers three different rates for three different levels of knowledge a student already has and will gain in her studio.
​
Beginners will focus on the building blocks of singing. Talia will help young singers become familiar with their voices. Teaching them the anatomy of the voice, different breath control exercises, application of healthy vocal technique in songs they love to sing, and much more.
​
Intermediate singers will have a firm background in healthy singing and be able to apply new techniques easily. In these lessons, the students will explore learning to sing in other languages, vocal expression and text painting, dynamic strategies and control, and much more.

Advanced singers will be building off of a solid foundation in vocalizing and mainly working on maintaining healthy vocal habits they have already acquired. Frequent change of repertoire instructor critique
PIANO LESSONS
Talia has been playing piano for 13 years. She began taking lessons when she was 8 years old and then began teaching herself chordal piano by using resources online. She learned how to accompany herself to her favorite songs and auditioned and performed at many different venues for a variety of purposes.

Talia uses the Bastien Piano Basics method books for her adolescent students and Alfred's Basic Adult Piano Course method books for adult piano students.
​
Beginner piano lessons focus on the fundamentals of the piano. How to play loud verses soft, staccato and legato, etc. Students will also follow the method books to enhance their understanding of musical terms. Time signature, key signature, rhythm, beat, tempo, melody, harmony, basic aural skills, and much more will be addressed in this first tear of piano lessons.

Intermediate piano lessons will build off the foundation of the beginner lessons and continue to expand the student's musical vocabulary. More complex piano pieces will be assigned and more practicing techniques will be enforced. The importance of character and dynamics and how they work together is one example of a higher level of learning for Intermediate students. We will dive into the composers' biographies and learn what Italian words in the music means.
